you did not mention if you had breakfast or lunch. and that is about the time for a healthy afternoon snack. However I often find that when I think I am hungry I am truly more thirsty than hungry and if I drink a large glass of water the hunger goes away. remember our bodies need fuel to burn calories so no need to starve your self. just use portion control and make healthy choices.

I find when I am busy working I don't think about eating or drinking my focus is totally on what I am doing at that moment. I usually have to remind myself to drink my water. I think Brenda had it right with all you did you would have dropped calories. So, the only thing to do when you are craving junk food is make sure there is none in the house,and that you have healthy snacks handy. Because your mind may just accept that snack in place of nothing. So you would have got thru a bad few moments.
But, I want to say you did GREAT to get all that stuff done plus all that exercising you did while doing it.

I agree with Lorie, kinda. I only eat when I'm hungry, but I find I do get hungry mid morning (when working and I eat breakfast early) and mid afternoon.
Today once I snacked on 2 T dry roast peanuts. The other time a few baby carrots. Sometimes it's a graham cracker (with our without a bit of peanut butter) or 2 fat free fig newtons (ahem), 1/2 banana, etc.

I break my day down into three meals and two or three snacks. That way I always have something to eat. The other eating is not really hunger, just habit. Yes it is the hardest thing to say no to your self when that urge comes on. I have sugar free jello or pudding cup. Or I drink a can of sugar free Rootbeer. Thats filling and sweet. Lorraine
Dear one I am exactly the same I can go hours. Like yesterday I had no appetite whatsoever until almost dinner time and like you I had been a going concern all day long. That feel hungry feeling just wasn't there. Then Wham it was time to eat! What was happening was I needed to burn off the calories enough to feel the hunger again. I really think it depends on our activity levels too. The less active we are the less calories we burn, the less energy we need in refueling. And if we listen to our bodies they defintely tell us when they're hungry.
I find that yes I can eat early enough in the morning; I'm up at six and it'll hold me until almost three in the afternoon depending on how active I've been and how much calories/energy I've expended. If I'm more sedentry I can go longer, but if I'm medium to high activity I'm hungry aprox every 2-4 hours So I grab something; usually fruit throughout the morning and then I'll have carbs for lunch and my heavier protein for dinner and I'm content until morning again.

THIS MEANS WAR AGAINST FAT: EAT TO LIVE WITH COMMITMENT, CONSISTENCY, & CONTROL
First, stop and think about all the calories you have burned cleaning and so forth. Then stop and think of something good and healthy to eat. Don't nibble on all that junk after all those calories you have burned cleaning everything and working so hard at that. You are still burning calories so it doesn't hurt to cheat a little but eat something healthy first. Then you won't feel so bad or mad at yourself. :) Brenda
How is it, I can go all morning, from 7 am until now..which is 2:45 PM and not have the urge to nibble.. Now I've sat down...I'm thinking some very nearly evil thoughts about food...ha ha ha ha
I've been busy all morning, clearing out my husband's music room/home office... Doing my normal every day bits and bob's, ironing etc. vac'ing blah blah blah, you all know the routine.. And I've cleaned and moved my entire compost pile... Grrrr...this makes me soooo mad at me!
