well, i definitely won't hit that goal weight. if anything, i'll be right about where i started by new years day. its been a lousy fall season, with illness and this lethargy. i'm finally getting my motivation in, but my awful TOM hits and i just can't get out of the house, exercise hurts too much or just doesn't feel right on those days (like today, dang it--but if it eases up i'm hitting that gym for sure! i'm sick of not getting there)

i haven't exercised as much restraint the past month with food and portions, its like i went mindless or something with eating. ugh. i'm so mad at that. but i'm aware now that december is my crappy month. amazing how thanksgiving isn't too bad for me, its december that pulls me down. hmm...well, i'm gonna do my best to take things totally easy new years day with the party food (hopefully it'll be warm enough to go outside and work off some energy, not be cooped up a dozen feet away from pounds and pounds of food sitting out for the taking--that's what went so wrong this year)

January 2nd, though, is gonna be a whole nother story! I won't make it this new years, but next new years I certainly will! I'm tired of this mess, and now i know more about my "bad months"--i'm gonna do some serious planning to make sure january and february aren't horrible like this was. grr... (i'm gonna go offstage now and belt out the rocky theme song...toodles)

moi, too there. i've been bitten by the school bug and the painting bug the past several weeks and the "no you can't sleep you nut so don't try" bug (that one really hurt me), so i'm in the same boat, hovering in the same range.

but i'm about to put on my jacket and make sure i have my clothes, because i'm going to the gym in about 10 minutes (first time in over a week--i'm glad i'm getting work, but wow, i'd love to have more time to do the things i've volunteered for and especially to EXERCISE again!!! I'm gonna have to start bringing my bike to the university and squeeze in a couple of miles at this rate!!!)

hello everyone!

I am so glad this team is a little more active - fitting in a LBD has been lurking in the back of my mind since joining this team. :) I do not think I will reach my goal weight by the end of the year, but I hope to break into the 150s. I need to lose 2 lb a week to do it, and I am so motivated to get there! I've been hovering in the same 3-4 pound range for the past couple of months and I am over it!

Glad to learn you are all doing well!

YAY for seeing the light!

I eat healthy for the hopes of having children... (been going through fertility treatment unsuccessfully for 3 years) So by the time I finally do get pregnant, and the baby is born.. they will grow up with healthy habits b/c I will have had my lifestlye changed for soo long at that point!

I am sure the activity will definitely help you get to your goals!!!

Since I have to make sure that my son eats properly and my hubby I am pretty good about eating right. In fact that has never really been a problem for me. If I don't see it I wont want it. But I have never been very active, so I am hoping this helps.

I think I will be! My "original" goal for New Years Eve was to be 120lbs...hahahaha not even close! O well, I am still a good amount lighter than I was when I started!

I think training for the 5K will definitely kick up the weight loss! Just be sure you are still eating right while running though! Too many people let their nutrition go out the window when they pick up training!

I know what you mean about the tunnel!! And oh boy is that light at the end of it addicting!!!!

emoticon BIKERBABYZ! I know you will totally be in your regular size LBD by New Years Eve for sure :)

I'm doing good. Averaging about 1 lbs a week, but I just started serious training for a 5k at the end of November so I am hoping that will kick start the loss up to 2 lbs, then I'll only be 9 lbs away from my goal :) But anything at this point is making me happy because I know that there is light at the end of the tunnel... some days the tunnel gets longer and others it gets smaller :)

Thank you SDERCOLE!

Still have 8 more weeks until New Years Eve... And at 2lbs a week, that is a true possibility of losing 16lbs before LBD day!

Since I seem to drop down a clothing size every 20 pounds... I am thinking I will start scoping out REGULAR sizes for my dress! NO MORE plus size for me!!

How are you coming on your LBD goal?

kinda hit a stall, but i've stayed within a pound or two of 190--first time in well over a year.

i need to get back on the horse this week--my schedule's evening out quite a bit now, so it should be much easier--and my next paycheck's coming which means oodles of good fresh veggies again.
