hmmmm... well, on 1/9/11 I'll be running my 1st full marathon (yikes!)
It has been something I've always dreamed of doing, and being able to check that off my list will feel wonderful. I do have a fear that once I've passed that finish line, that I might not run again... after months of training and hating it on some days, I'm afraid that my recovery break (1-2 weeks after the race) could turn into a month, year or longer of not running.
So I think my resolution will be to keep up running several times a week - just for fitness and enjoyment - because so far in my "running life" I've always run to prepare for an upcoming race.
On the rare occasion that I run just to enjoy it, I really do love it - and would like to keep that up in the long term!
