you can go to podrenaline.com and check out the mp3 downloads there is one for a jump rope workout. it was a real work out it is to music and the training tells you what to do next . let me know if you like it....gina ;)

For my first day and not having jumped for YEARS I did very good. 12 then planks, 25 then 10 push-ups, 39 then 10 push-ups again.

OK, I'm easing in--10 minutes so far today, I'll go for longer tomorrow. I want to get in about 30 minutes a day. I'm still breaking myself and my jump rope in, so I am only doing 3-5 jumps sometimes before messing up! I'll aim for a break every 5 minutes for push-ups and plank and such. emoticon

I tried 200 jumps then regular plank for 30 sec for a total of 800 jumps, therefore 4 x 30 secs plank.
It works. It feels like you are resting your legs and feet while doing it. Clever way to work out your core while doing your cardio. I like it.

The best has yet to come.

I am not sure if I want to jump in this one. My goal is to do my cardio workout for 30 minutes then do my strength training. On the other hand, I do stop every 200 jumps to rest and this is not a bad idea to do the modified or regular plank since it allows you to rest (but then planks are not easy, but they do define one's waist!) or push ups.
I will give it a try and see how it goes. It might be the right combination to do it all at once.

There are 50 days till Halloween. Our challenge is to do as many jumps till you mess up, then do modified plank for 30 sec. Jump again till you mess up then do 10 push-ups.(girl or boys) Repeat three times. Each day add more jumps, m plank time, and push ups. By Halloween we want to be anywhere from 100-300 jumps with no mess ups, 2-4 mins on m plank and 15-35 push-ups!

Log on under "Halloween Challenge" each day and let us know your progress!
