The NuWave oven is a heat induction oven that sits on your countertop...or in my case, my deep freezer! LOL It is a little big, but it's worth it for me. The meat is not dried out, I don't have to thaw everything first (great for me since I never know what I want to eat until I get hungry)
I have made frozen turkey breasts, frozen steaks, and reheated leftover shrimps 9made them crispy again, unlike a microwave which would have just made them mushy).
I don't use it every day, but I do use it often enough to say it's worth the space it takes up. (and since I am in a clean out phase of life, I may just have room for it in a cabinet very soon.
I HAVE ONE AND USE IT OCCASIONALLY. I HAVE 4 PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY AND FIND IT HARD TO COOK ENOUGH FOR ALL OF US IF I'M TRYING TO DO A WHOLE MEAL IN IT. IT'S ALSO BIG. I HAVE TO PUT MINE ON TOP OF THE FRIDGE BECAUSE IT TAKES UP SO MUCH COUNTER SPACE. I AGREE THAT THE THINNER STUFF CAN COOK FROM FROZEN BUT THICKER STUFF TAKES LONGER THAN IT SAYS (UNLESS I HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO USE IT:-)) I WILL SAY THAT I DON'T USE IT AS MUCH AS I THOUGHT I WOULD. I WOULD PROBABLY USE IT MORE IF IT WAS JUST 1 OR 2 OF US. HOPE THIS HELPS.
THE ONLY PERSON WHO STANDS IN THE WAY OF MY SUCCESS IS ME.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TOMORROW HOLDS BUT I KNOW WHO HOLDS MY HAND.
I bought a NuWave oven a couple weeks ago because it has been so hot in San Diego and I like to use my oven for breads, steaks, chickens, etc and it heats my place way too much to survive.
So far, I've learned that thin steaks, frozen, cook very fast and bread, blueberry muffin bread, looks pretty, but should be cooked on medium, not high or it's not done on bottom. Cornish hens took longer than I thought they would, but yum yum.
