I do believe that chocolate should be one of the food groups.

Slowly and surely wins the race.

One thing that I miss - my grandmother made what she called "City Chicken". She skewered chunks of veal & pork, rolled it in an egg mixture and then saltine crackers. Browned them on top of the stove and then baked them.

Us kids always requested these on our birthday and my mouth is watering just thinking about them! lol

I love all types of food, often trying out the local cuisine when we travel. No favorites per se.

But love my DH spaghetti
Love dessert of chocolte ice cream drizzled with Bailey's Irish cream.

I love quilting - check out my portfolio. freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gch

I miss my grandmother's cooking. Her cooking was like magic.

I don't know if I have a specific Item that is the best food ever.

Can't really think of the best out of all the things I've eaten, but at least close would be my Mom's fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. Also my aunt's German Potato Salad.

What is the best thing you've ever eaten? A meal, a dessert, a single piece of fruit, anything?
