They are now planning to charge us for them here. Of course, they require us to put the trash in plastic bags before putting it in the dumpster, too, so they will be able to charge for any kind of plastic bag we use for their requirements.

I have reusable cloth grocery bags, but usually forget them when I go to the store (I stop on my way home). I do recycle the plastic one. I use some to clean out the litter pan & I take others to the food pantry at church. I also keep one in my car for trash.
We use both. The plastic ones are great for cleaning the litter box, etc.

I've been using cloth bags for everything since the early 1970's......

I have used reusable bags for 30 years, but now I do so much of my shopping after work and my locker is too small to store the bags.

I use reusable bags most of the time, but I also have reuses for some plastic bags, so I'm not adverse to getting a couple here and there.

I use both the re-usable and the plastic. I use the plastic a lot for trash, cleaning the litter boxes and picking up after the dog. I do have several insulated bags that I like to use if I have cold stuff to bring a long way.

My MIL likes to use the plastic ags from the stores for things around the ouse so we usually get plastic, but we do use our clothe freezer lined bag for cold items.
