If your apartment comes with a balcony.....you could always put plants in pots outside on the deck!!

I love gardening - both flowers & edibles. Fruit, too. Unfortunately, I now live in an apartment & don't have anywhere to garden. I have to settle for house plants.

I plant a few trees and bushes, but my back won't let me garden.

I love any type of gardening....most of my bushes & trees are to entice birds & butterflies into the yard. So, over the years I've added a Cockspur Hawthorne tree, service berry bushes, several types of Viburnum and High bush cranberry bushes.

Although I have perennial veggies ~ I probably won't be putting in a garden this year. I'm clearing out my house & looking for a new place in northern Minnesota. Am so ready to sell the current house & move on with life....

Gardening is my passion. However, now that we are snowbirds it is limited.

We leave our AZ house in two weeks. All our plants will spend summer on a drip system and hopefully survive.

In MN we have lots of wildflowers, and perennials. Also, perennial veggies. I used to plant tomatoes but found they ripened after we left in the fall.

When I buy perennials I buy those that bloom Jun - Aug. No spring ro fall bloomers for us...

Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2016. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2016 to be back to below 155 by

I only tried gardening several times and it din't turn out well in any experience. So now I leave the gardening to my hubby. He enjoys doing both food and flowers.

Its that time of year again! Do you do outdoor gardening? If so, what kind flowers, food, or both? What are your favorites?
