I only got electricity and indoor plumbing 30 years ago, if I had to go back what would I miss? Probably talking to my SP friends, so it would be the internet. I know got to have electricity for that. You can't have just one.

Depends on the definition of Modern.

Indoor plumbing has been around since 1850s in most areas - I understand. So if I look at the last 100 years - I would say communication - telephones

I love quilting - check out my portfolio. freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gch

I guess indoor plumbing would be at the top of my list, too. Growing up, the telephone was a pretty big deal and I still feel it serves a great purpose.

What one modern convenience - either appliance or technological advancement - would you definitely prefer not to have to live without?
