I've been a local Justice of the Peace twice and would do it again. There are 10 of us at a time and it just requires working, primary, election and town meeting day. The occasional property tax grievance and the option to do weddings. The pay isn't great but it is fun expecially on election days where you get to see EVERYONE in town. Ahhh small town life!

I was expected to run for alderman when I lived in the city, but I thought I was going t be moving out of that ward within a year or so & decided not to. Didn't want to start & then resign. Boy were people upset since it was unopposed. Oh well, life happens. Now I'm either just not interested or just too lazy.
I have definite convictions, but am not a debater so generally do not discuss politics. Our economy is probably my highest stress as I see some of my children working so hard and not going anywhere, and some wanting to work, and have employable skills yet the opportunities are gone as is their future... Personal goal is to weigh in 159 by the end of March 2016. I did not make my previous goal so must do better...I ACHIEVED THE GOAL OF REACHING 151 IN MAY 2013. A LOSS OF 37 POUNDS! Summer of 2014 I gained 10 pounds of it back while traveling to the BVI's and Ireland so I have set a new goal for 2016 to be back to below 155 by
