Not likely. I'm rather isolated. I live with my 29-nine year old son and he didn't get me anything for my 60th birthday on January 24th. I have six siblings and I received no cards, phone calls, emails, or even one text. I received a belated happy birthday email from my sister who lives in Australia the Monday after. My 88 year-old mother doesn't even know what day it is any more.
Will be babysitting on Valentine's Day so the Dad and I are planning a party with spaghetti. This week (tomorrow) we will make decorations for the party . DH and I will have heart shaped meatloaf for lunch that day

Yes our family has a favorite show that we record, and the kids come over for supper and then watch the show it happens that it starts on valentines day this year so how much more love could you ask for than to be around family that you love. Faith
Nothing special on Valentines Day...too commercial...we don't need a day to tell us to buy each other a gift...everyday is a gift with my hubby..

My sweetie and I both have Valentine's Day off this year. I was thinking about making him something special for dinner. It would be nice to go out to eat, but the restaurants will be so busy that night and I hate waiting for a table.
Weight loss is accomplished with the mind.
A person who wants something WILL find a way....a person who doesn't will find an excuse.
Which do you prefer? The pain of self discipline?....or...the pain of self regret?

Not really planned but now I am thinking! Maybe dinner out and a movie.

I do not teach that night, so my DH and I will spend the afternoon and evening with our sons, probably watching Doctor Who or Big Bang Theory at home. Maybe he and I will go to lunch or for a long walk earlier that day. Otherwise, we don't do anything special for Valentine's Day - never really have felt the need, because we are demonstrative with our love each day.
