Big congrats on your achievement...you are doing so well....it really makes a differemce when yoiu are actually going somewhere.... I did a bikeathon at the gym in october and set myself a destination i wanted to get to in the week and achieved it and now when I go and ride the bike I keep adding the K's onto the ones I have already done....its great

Leader Meeting the Daily Challenge of Diet & Exercise team....
I haven't posted in quite a while...but wanted to come on and wish everyone a Happy New Year :) I started my 'journey' and virtual bike ride back on July 19th, 2012, leaving Kelso, CA....and I've accomplished many 'mini' goals between then and now..my biggest one to date was biking my 1000th mile on Dec. 21st. I just entered the U.S State of Texas :) oh...and I also lost a total of 10lbs during that time.
After taking this past week off for Christmas I'm back on track and biked my first 10 miles of the year this morning..putting me at a grand total of 1010 miles... My goals for this year is to bike an additional 1696 miles by Dec. 31st 2013 and lose 66lbs...which would put me in Onederland.
