Just my husband and myself at home. No children, no relatives here. We had two visits to relatives earlier in the year which were lovely, and we are expecting some to come here in February. Might even meet an American SF who is over here in January! So the day itself will be very quiet for us - and enjoyable!
My younger step-son, age 38, will join us for a calorie-controlled dinner. Otherwise it will just be my husband and I at home. His other son, my son, and my daughter will all be out of town with other family members. I managed to keep my weight steady through Thanksgiving and hope to do the same for Christmas dinner. Lots of time to work out!

We are going to our son & DIL's for Christmas Eve and the drive 4 hr. south to my brother's in IA. for Christmas Day. Their son will be home for the holiday a with a new baby we are anxious to meet. We will then continue our trip back to our TX. home. Merry Christmas to you all!!
Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner. Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

We're having my husband's sister, her boyfriend, her son and his girlfriend, my 2 daughters and their boyfriends and my daughters friend, who has been spending Christmas with us forever, over on the 24th for supper, then we're all going to church. Then on the 25th, we have all my family(brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews) over for supper and a gift exchange. Last year we were 33 people for supper. Then boxing day we veg and relax!!!
Being Bahais we don't actually celebrate Xmas so we just join friends and celebrate the holidays with them. Then we invite others to join us on our holidays.
"The world is one country and mankind its citizens" one of the many truths spoken by Baha'u'llah and "Love is the light that guideth in darkness, the living link that uniteth God with man, that assureth the progress of every illumined soul."
I'm now in Africa now and in a tropical rain forest. No snow here. Warm weather. My house is decorated, complete with a decorated, artificial tree. Saturday I am invited to a Christmas Carol sing time at the home of other Americans who work here. All the International workers are invited, American and Africans. There will be lots of little children as well. On Sunday there should be a Christmas service at the Nzoundou Chapel where I attend. Christmas Eve we Americans will have a progressive dinner ending with a Birthday cake for one of the Doctors who has a Dec. 24th Birthday. On Tuesday, Christmas, we Americans will eat a meal together. I'm taking two chickens and a pumpkin pie.
At least those are the activities I know about......
How about you? Do you celebrate Christmas? How?
