I have been having a protien bar most days and I am finding that is really helpoing me to get more protien....am finding it really helps after I have done weights at the gym as well....

there are a lot of Veggie proteins.... from artichokes (good with lemon and can be fun to eat also), beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, cucumbers, eggplant, green peas, kale, lettuce, potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, turnip greens, watercress, and yam and zucchini.
Fruits: Apples, bananas, grapes, honeydew, orange, papaya, peach, pears, pinapple, strawberries, tangerines, watermelon.
Grains: Brown rice, barley, buckwheat, millet, oatmeal, rye, wild rice.
legumes, garbanzo beans (great with salads), lima beans, split peas.

peanut butter, well any nut butters;
cheeses, cottage cheese etc...
there are a lot of protein alternatives to meats. And the added carbs and sugars are all natural and in a form your body knows how to bread down easily.

hi! some ideas are greek yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts especially peanuts, Peanut Butter, Tuna or any kind of fish.

i was wondering if anyone had any tips on adding more protein to a diet??? i'm not a big meat eater and need some kind of supplement, but i dont really want to get any protein supplement from a powder :)
