Start with Romaine lettuce--add tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow crookneck, mushrooms, carrots, celery, whatever veggies available, then add fruit, such as cranraisens, and walnuts or pecans.

I love salad so I'll try anything in it! I like to add fruit to a spinach salad, such as strawberries, raspberries or oranges. For veggies; it's whatever I have on hand. I like to add fresh herbs too!

A couple types of lettuce, carrots, beets, a little bit of onion, garbonzole beans, and those little baby ears of corn. I'll add chopped egg, and a little chopped up ham, and add lite blu cheese dressing.

Several kinds of lettuce ( Romaine, bib, red and green leaf and so on), spinach, mushrooms, onions, celery, sweet peppers, cucumber, carrots and radish. Sometime, I add cheese. Salt and pepper, a little dash of rice vinegar and I'm set to go.

No dressing: 8 Spanish olives (small, pimento stuff) with oregano leaves and fresh ground pepper suffice for that.

Lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, fresh mushrooms and a slice or two of bell pepper sometimes. In short, what's fresh and good at the time! emoticon
