I just keep telling myself that whether I lose fast, lose slow, or don't lose at all, I am adopting this healthy eating and exercise lifestlyle forever, so there is no hurry. I also try to remember that even if the body size isn't changing my blood panel, blood pressure, and strength certainly are. This war is all about the Non-Scale victories--I may not look better, but I sure am feeling better.

I think the answer is in your question. You are making progress. It may not be quick but if you were not trying you would be at square 1 again and stay there. Keep it up you are getting healthier and try not to focus on how long it takes you, just doing the right thing means you are getting healthier anyway. The results will start to show quicker in their own time. Some of us take longer to get going but we get there

I find that writing down my goals on my sparkpage reminds me where i'm coming from even if it's not going that fast. I keep reminding myself that i'm choosing for my weight loss to go slowly and if I keep at it, i will eventually get there!

I also measure my body...sometimes you'll see inches before pounds lost. Also, I really try to focus in on that I am doing this for a healthier me. Okay, honestly, ya, I want to look good in my clothes, but I also want a healthy lifestyle that will keep me around for a long time. Every day that I eat healthy and exercise is a step forward... it may be a tortise step, but its still forward moving step!!!
