Congrats on reaching Bullhead City (be sure to go across the river to Laughlin and win some money at the casinos!!) Just kidding! - great job on your biking thus far and I like the idea of getting the streamers.
I don't usually reward myself and that is probably a big mistake. If I planned ahead and had a reward in mind it might be that extra push that I need to keep going....just a thought!
I biked my 1st 100 miles but rather than stopping, I kept on going...I passed up the ARIZONA state line and I REACHED MY 3RD 'virtual' destination...Bullhead City, AZ....3 goals in one day!!
Thank you all sooo very much for letting me know how you reward yourself...those are awesome idea's. I'm think I'm going to start by taking a well deserved day off, lol....ohhh and I think I'm going to buy streamers for my bike. ROFL!
Your looking for a big reward. Day trip to somewhere you never have gone, massage, pedicure, something neat for your bike or bike wear. As far as rewards go I have to reward myself for even staying on track or exercising regularly because my weight loss is so slow. I use quiet time lay down and watch show or read free time, flavored water, and flowers for small rewards.
My life tomorrow will be the result of my attitudes and the choices I make today.

That last idea is so good I am going to steal it. Usually I just kind of sluff of doing well thinking doing well is its own reward.
"The world is one country and mankind its citizens" one of the many truths spoken by Baha'u'llah and "Love is the light that guideth in darkness, the living link that uniteth God with man, that assureth the progress of every illumined soul."
I was curious to see how you reward yourself when you reach a personal goal. Whether it be a fitness goal or weight loss goal..what do you do, if anything, to celebrate these types of 'milestones'?
I'm about to hit my 100th mile on my 'Biking Across America' journey... I only have 11.4 miles to go and was just sitting here thinking about how I can reward myself for accomplishing this milestone...
