My grandmother is interred in Santa Cruz. My aunt & uncle were scattered over the Pacific Ocean. My mother & father are waiting for me to take them to White Spar Family Campground, & Kaibab Natl Forest and scatter them there. They spent some of the happiest days of their lives in those two places, and will be happy to rest there in eternity.

I don't know any vets, except living ones.

So no, I won't be visiting a cemetery tomorrow.

I was going to, but when they were alive, my parents adamantly believed in honoring the dead by serving the living. So, no cemetery visits, just personal kudos to families who are serving and a visit to a shut-in vet.

I went last weekend to clean my parents graves, I will be going again on June 9th to but flowers at the grave. June 4th is the anniversary of my dad's death and June 30th my mom's and being that they are not close to where I live, it is when I am in the area.

My immediate family isn't much for visiting cemeteries. We used to go with my aunts, though. My aunts were the ones to take flowers to the graves, also.

I am more into visiting the living.

We visit my in-law's grave sites at least twice a year and bring flowers. We'll be going soon, but probably not this weekend.

No, the family graves are to far away. My father's is closer, but due to cemetery rules, one can not put flowers or plants on the grave.

Going to visit my granddaughter and family.

No, this year it would be too hard to visit the graves while in a wheelchair.

This is Memorial Day weekend in America and many decorate their loved one's graves during this time. Will you be visiting one or more Cemeteries this weekend? Do you take flowers out to the grave sites?
