Keep up the good work. I am sorry that you have encountered negativity on this site from others. I too, have had negativity from other members. It is hurtful and I was so close to just quitting SP. But I am not here for them or to please them. I am here for me, and hopefully to help others. You are doing a great job and I admire you for all the effort you put into this even with a very full plate. Thanks.

This is a great thing that you do for everyone...we are very privileged... if people don'tt respond then it is not your problem...sadly we have to take responsibility for ourselves and if we chose not to do that then we miss out.... You cannot do the impossible my friend... you are doing a great job for us...

In GOD We Trust Choose To Lose "If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired." -General George S Patton, U.S.Army, 1912 Olympian
I've been in other teams where there is no involvement either by leader or individuals. A person doesn't have to respond to every e-mail. It takes just the press of the button to delete it. Keep up the good work. I appreciate what you do.

Don't be content with average. Average is as close to the bottom as it is to the top.

Like others have said. You can't please everyone. I appreciate what you do. This is why Spark People is such a success. "The Little things" You are a very special person and you a doing a wonderful thing. Keep up the good work.
You can't please everyone and most do not realize the time invested in what you do. There are more of us who appreciate and understand what you do and your time invested than those who don't. Keep doing what your doing!

It's the little things in life that make one feel so special! You do a special thing in remembering birthdays! In some cases, maybe your birthday greeting is the only one a person receives! Please continue because it means something to you!
I am a full time working mother of 3. I lead two teams on sparkpeople. I do daily birthdays threads for each team. I email each team once a month in order to get the birthdays. Not only does this take time out of my day, but I find that it is something that most people like. But, I do not need people to email me with their anniversarys, other people's birthdays, or telling me that they wish to unsubscribe to only my emails. I do not have time to filter through everything. I'm sorry if people do not like what I'm doing, but I have to do it in a way that works for me. As a team leader, I enjoy making people feel special on their birthdays. You have the choice whether you wish to read emails. I make the choice to do the birthday threads.
