I don't set an alarm. If I'm not up by 7:00 to feed my cat, BOO!, he comes into the room and wakes me by jumping on and off the bed until I get up! He has never let me oversleep.

Nope, but not for the reason you think. Not only is is a holiday here in Ontario, but I'm on medical leave for a little while longer. So unless I have an appointment at the hospital, I don't use an alarm (actually, I use music. The buzzer makes me start the day in a bad mood). Besides all that, I never hit the snooze anyway.

On work days, my hubbie's alarm goes off ( emoticon ) first at 5:00 AM, which wakes me. I then have about ten minutes before it is my turn to get up. Today, we both stayed in bed until 7 which is late for us. We were both up & down all night helping our kitty adjust to her new surroundings. emoticon emoticon

No. I didn't even set my alarm. Today is one of my days off, and on days I work 3-11 pm, I don't need an alarm, as I'm up for hours beforehand. On the days I need to be at work at 9 am, I set my alarm, but I very rarely sleep until the alarm goes off.

Since retiring, I no longer use an alarm clock. Mine is internal. I go to bed by 9 pm and by 4:30/5:00, my internal alarm goes off (usually a bathroom call) will get me up. Then my thought process nags me to start the day and I get up. This early quiet time allows me to do some personal/spiritual reading.
