Lots of Irish in my heritage - and I have the red hair to prove it.

Yes, about 3/4 Irish. My sister lives in Ireland. Such a beautiful country!

My Dad's side. An Irish man married an Engish woman. Their off spring married a Scott that married an Irish man they had a son that married a German.
My Mom's side is French, German, and Native American.
So me, I'm a good ole MUTT. I'm Irish and Native American at heart. Kind of depends on my mood that moment in time which way I swing.

I'm 99% Irish. Like others my grandparents came over during the potato famine and ended up on opposite coasts of the US. I love this time of year.

My maiden name is Kelley. My dad's family is 100% Irish back to 1700s County Cork (I think) through the McKillips and Delaneys. My dad died when I was five, so my mom took on the task of teaching me all about his heritage, often to the neglect of her own, English, Irish, French and a little bit German.

Not sure. Like Carolyn's my family came from the British Isle but think mostly English, Scottish, and Welsh. There could have been some Irish somewhere in the mix. Last names Jones, Russell, Clyburn/Claiburn (there is a despute over which is correct).

I am half. My grandmother came over to Boston in the early 1900's as well. Then made her way down to NJ where the rest of her family was. She was in her late teen's when she did this! I always admired her for that. Barbara (Carrigan)

Yes!! My Dad is first generation born- from my Irish Grandmother and Norwiegen Grandfather.
She is a Gargan!! Pretty Irish, I'd say!! I will travel to see Ireland one day- my grandmother fascinated me. She died when I was about 12 years old but hear so many stories- she lead an interesting life prior to coming here (via Ellis Island) and I would love to learn more!! She was a woman WAY before her time!!

Half on my father's side, but 100% in my heart! I've lived my whole life in California, but my heart is forever in Ireland (which I've only ever visited in my sweetest dreams). Check out my Sparkpage!

March 17th will be St. Patricks Day. I'm just wondering if there is anyone on the team who claim to be full or part Irish?
I'm from the States and I have some ancesters from the British Isles but I think England and probaly Scotland. Perhaps a bit of Irish. I do not know. My geneologist brother has not been able to trace back to Europe on that side of the family.
