SNOWYOGA - That's too bad !
It's better, I think, to accentuate the positive things in your life !
Failures are great to learn from !

SLACHETKA103145 - Now, we modest people can quietly go about,
living our good life, un-encumbered by a swollen ego.

Wouldn't it be great if we had been told all of our lives that it is OK to "wag your own tail" rather than put it on a dark shelf! I still find that one of the hardest things that I have to do is pat myself on the back! I even know that it is OK too!

Jean

If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win but think you can't,
It's almost certain you won't.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But sooner or later, the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can. (Walter D. Wintle)

Yes - We should all focus on the positive things that we accomplish, and
praise ourselves for the good job, well-done !

That is a great idea and yes, i do the same thing. I think because my failures are visual and in front of me all the time!

We can do this....together.

Do you put more focus on your failures rather than your success? How can you change it?

I often notice I am harder on myself for my failures. I find them easier to point out and get upset about. But as far as my success, I often do not recognize it and donít stop to be proud of myself. This also makes me miss out on a lot of the good I do. Today in order to focus on the good, every time I achieve a goal I am going to reward myself with some me time!
