I am going to use this. I sometimes freak out and worry about a lot of things. I prob need to step back and remind myself. I am grateful for little reminders.

Never give up, never surrender, never back down, and never let go!

Awesome!! I am totally using that one myself this week. No one will die in the next 15 minutes--No one will die in the next 15 minutes--No one will die in the next 15 minutes. I can take 15 minutes for myself and go for a walk.

Great attitude! Taking some time for yourself probably makes you more productive anyway, so you get a big "atta girl!" for not putting your needs at the bottom of a list. Have a great weekend :-)

So... today's kind of busy at work. Like the Titanic kind of had a leak. I have reminders set up on my computer to remind me when my break times are (otherwise I have a bad habit of working straight through them; lunch, too). My alarm went off for my afternoon break and for a minute I contemplated skipping my break today because I've got a bazillion phone calls to return.

Then I thought to myself, "Wait. No one is going to die in the next 15 minutes if I get up and go walk around the building." I grabbed my headphones, cranked up my walking tunes and got moving. I'm so glad I did. I feel oomgoodles better and I know that I'm more productive when I get my walking breaks in. Plus, if I hadn't, I would have totally missed out on the fact that the sun had come out. It was gray & icky when I came into work and it will be sunset when I get to leave.

I still have a bazillion phone calls to return, but I'll get to them once I stop eating this super-nummy fresh pineapple. Yes, I have a lot of work... but if I don't get it all done today, it'll still be here on Monday.

Happy weekend everybody! emoticon
