Yes i agree. this way of cooking is very practical way to cook meals . Long time ago i read an article about cook once eat thrice . so i started cooking to take advantage of the old left-over style . always have food on hand . always be ready anytime someone comes and says mom i am hungry . My son told his friends long ago that i can bring my friends over and my mom will feed us all . ladies it helps the kitchen is not as hot at least three days of week . tell us what you are cooking today and how will you serve . I made a spaghiettie and sauce . we had it for two days .I did not use all the pasta . i kept it in a bowl covered and yesterday i took part of it and made a tuna salad . in the evening i took the rest and made mac and cheese . each different and not one of them looked like the first meal of spaghetti. change it up . add veggies and it is tasty .

Thanks to batch cooking I have cabbage rolls and stuffed peppers ready to eat. I used my crock pot to cook these up. And the rolls and pepper have the same ingredient which makes cooking a lot easier. And if there is any ground beef or rice left over I cook it with some veggies and it's another meal. We all love rice and ground beef for a meal with veggies. This week I'm going to may lasagna and chicken pot pie. Only if I have enough of time. Then I won't have to cook all week.
