I'm not gluten intolerant, but I have chosen to not eat any "whites" and therefore, my meals are meat, vegetables and occasionally a fruit. I did not shirataki noodles on line -- zero calorie and use them for "spaghetti" etc. I like the "rice" kind the best.
I feel a million times better! O, I do use rice cakes OCCASIONALLY!
Last night I had a "mini" pizza -- rice cake, 7 pieces of pepperoni, 1/4 c cheddar cheese, microwave 15 minutes..... yum.
I found that all whites are "triggers" severe "triggers to me to eat more and more and more and elected to leave them all out of my house. Oh, yes, I made a pumpkin pudding with no sugar and stored it in serving size containers - for my pumpkin pie fix (no crust) it was great...
