Thank you guys!!! I will try to get used to it; even better, I will try some new stuff; thank you, Michele, for that! I love to try new things, especially since watching my husband's face when he tries it is quite entertaining. We eat only brown rice, (mostly only, anyway, lol) we like quinoa, but I haven't tried cous cous the original or pearl! It's now on my list emoticon !

I feel i might can help. Pasta like bread has 2 kinds in wheat essinally one that that ingredents say 100% whole wheat an the other label inriched wheat. If you eat first wheat bread 100% whole wheat mention first on engrdients the tast is good not over whelming nasty but the second that doesnt say 100% whole wheat first on the ingrents really has a bad tast its actiually same with pasta. I read all labels. If i dont i wont get. For good nutrions theres alot of good grain to try beside brown rice, theres cous cous the original or my fav pearl cous cous , then theres quino. I eat a plant based diet so im very familare with alot of grains ect. Hope this helps.

I agree with mixing 1/2 regular pasta and 1/2 whole wheat until you get used to it. I've done this with my own family for a while and now most like the whole grain pasta. Funny thing happened today. My husband said he read an article about whole wheat pasta and said he wants us to only buy ww pasta from now on. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised.

Try whole wheat angel hair. Seems to me the thinner pasta doesn't seem as grainy. But maybe that's just me. :)

If you are having trouble incorporating the whole grain pasta into your meals, try mixing it 1/2 and 1/2 with your regular pasta and see if that makes it easier.

Good luck! and GREAT for YOU for being open to something new!!!

I really like the Barilla pasta. It doesn't seem as grainy, I haven't bought "white" pasta in some time.

Give your self some time to get used to it. I now find that whole grain pasta has more body and flavor than regular pasta. I have a hard time going back to regular pasta as it doesn't have as much flavor.

The whole grain pasta I've tried is yukky to me, is there one that isn't so grainy?
