I ADORE Alton Brown! I wish I could hang out with him! I wish he lived next door (no offense to my current neighbors -LOL)! And, yeah . . . my husband DOES know I'm obsessed!
Fun thing is, I don't really watch Good Eats for the recipes . . . I think Alton Brown is so entertaining and educational, I would probably watch him if he cooked deep fried mud.
I've got it bad, don't I?
I love FN too and AB is on of my fav's. Feasting on Asphalt was gr8. So count me in too.

Yum, I do not watch the show, but will definitely look for your makeover recipes!!
Dream as if you have forever. Live as if you only have today.
To accomplish great things we must not only act but also dream, not only plan but also believe.
sounds good to me
I always enjoy Good Eats. His shows are very educational and they can be altered.
"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government."
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. "
Count me in, too!
From lovely San Juan, Puerto Rico and loving the beach!!!
There's nothing wrong with using the word "diet". It comes from the Greek word "diaita", meaning way of life. So to lose weight and keep it off we need to change our way of life.
I love everything FN, eSPecially AB, so count me in!

I agree with you!!!! I'm an extreme health nut that eats 9 times a day and 11 times when getting ready for a show. Most of these recipes have waaaay to much sodium and too many simple carbs. I tried several recipes and my training coach complained that my cuts didn't show and I looked like I had been eating dairy, which wasn't the case. Any suggestions?????
Okay, I can't be the only Good Eats geek on this team. I can't get enough of the show. But the recipes, until this season, are usually nutritionally terrible. One of the team goals is to make over a recipe every week. Does anyone else want to join me in making over and sharing an AB recipe each week? That way we'll all get our good eats fix while keeping within our nutrition goals.
