poor babies kicking them out my cats have voluntarily left the bedroom my problem is my husband wants me to stay up and watch one more show whereas I know that it is time for me to charge down

Couldn't sleep only got 4h last night - now I have to fight with myself not to "nap" which if I lay own will be a couple hours - a vicious circle.

It was a tossing and turning night. I couldn't get my mind to shut off. I started cleaning the back porch and I kept thinking how to re arrange the space better amongst other tasks. Body was tired from all the lifting and bending. Finally fell asleep.

According to my free SleepBot app, I slept very fitfully last night. I got into bed at 11:21, fell asleep about 20 minutes later, then woke up at 12:15 AM, 1:45, 2:05, 2:15, 4:45, 5:20, 5:40, 6:05, 6:15, and finally 6:40.

Not sleeping well at all, I have not been for many years. I will go to bed between 10-11pm and get up between 7-8am.

1. I don't fall asleep very quickly
2. I toss and turn all night long
3. My limbs go numb
4. Wake up to go to the bathroom sometimes up to 5 times a night, and yes I have tried to not drink anything after 5pm and it does not make a difference
5. I don't get very restful sleep

Therefore I always wake up tired, I still manage to walk every morning for 4.33 miles but by the middle of the day I am ready for a nap.

What can I do?

I'll sleep for a few hours then the dog will wake me up she has to go out. since she is such a little dog her bladder isn't that big. Or the family will be banging around and will up me up. Then I got to get up and go to the bathroom, then back to bed for another two hours. Repeat cycle. emoticon

Today is my first day joining the challenge. I usually sleep pretty well...but it's only for about 6 hours. Reading the article it appears that I need to change my sleeping habits to get an additional 2 hours of sleep. Didn't realize that a lack of sleep could affect so much healthwise.

Been feeling sick the previous 2 days and feeling weak today.
Had to have naps thru the day, which then interfered with getting to sleep at night.
When I did fall asleep, I slept soundly.

I thought I had a great night sleep. Went to bed at 11, got up at 7:15 to go bathroom and then back to sleep to 8:30. My fitness tracker disagreed. It did say I was in bed for 9+ hours but only slept 6 hr 27 min

Ha epic fail night #1. Toss and turn for an hour and then up to the couch for some TV. I am going to give it my best shot for this challenge and do again if needed. This eve I am logging off electronics 1 hr before bed. Having a cup of warm water and relaxing with a magazine.

I went to bed at 9:45PM last night since had to get up by 5:45AM. It took a little while to fall asleep even though I was really tired. I got woke up at 12:20AM and again at 4:15AM to go to the bathroom. I did get up without hitting the snooze button. I really should be getting off here and getting ready for bed but don't have to get up early tomorrow.

I have been cutting down on my caffeine to help me sleep better at night (and lower my anxiety level). I now drink just two 6oz cups of coffee first thing in the morning (5am). I find that I am tired throughout the morning, but that I usually feel more awake around 2pm. I started thinking that perhaps the coffee is making me more tired - so I did a Google search. The article I found (not sure of my source though) does suggest that I may feel more awake if I cut out my morning coffee all together. I have two weeks off for Christmas so I plan to use that time to cut out all coffee from my diet. This should be interesting!

so-so .The C-pap sprung a leak, makes my eyes dry so they burn so shut it off to get my eyes so relief. Naturally a couple breaks during the night...if not mine the dogs.

once I fell asleep yes....
Heel pain better since podiatrist visit but still hurting. and then Just tired today...running the stairs all day...washing machine stopping at and during each cycle. emoticon leg cramps and knee pain too.
