I like the 10 small groups sessions - you might even find an exercise partner in there to work with going forward.

I would go for the 10 small group sessions. You will be able to learn a lot more not only from the instructor but by your fellow workout buddies in the group. Let us know what path you take and how it worked out.
If they limit the amount in a small group I would go for that. You would get more out of it and by the end of the 10 sessions you would have some good routines to follow. I've had a personal trainer for several years now and love it but just one session isn't enough. Only my opinion. Best of luck and enjoy which ever one you decide on. You might meet some people in the small group and continue exercising with them.

I am considering treating myself to one of the two options: A one hour personal trainer session or 10 small group sessions. Money wise the first is cheaper but its one time only but more personal versus more sessions but more people.
