I would let your primary care doctor know and see if they can refer you to someone (foot doctor).

I sometime soak my feet in warm water with epsom salt and that helps mild pain along with tylenol or advil.

Hello,

I need some advice...I have the most extreme pain with my feet (especially my right) when I workout. I've purchased new shoes, I wear supportive socks, I make sure not to lace too tight but nothing helps. It is beyond painful. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations for me to try? I'm open to anything at this point.

Thanks so much in advance!!!!!

Jeets, if you click on Healthy Lifestyle tab above, then choose Lifestyle Centers.
Go all the way to the bottom to Limited Mobility.

Maybe you will find something there that you will be able to do when you have these painful flare ups.

I can only do low impact. Go through the demo videos and look for ones you can. There some you an do in a chair! The challenge is just to do something fro 10 minutes - it didn't say it had to be cardio.

I have Lupus and I am often in pain. I mainly walk and swim (when the weather is not too cold). I have also followed my physical therapy exercises. ( I attended PT a few years ago for treatment and kept the exercises the therapist gave me). I also find that ST exercises help too. SP has some great suggestions that worked for me.

Hope you feel better

Can you just walk in place, side to side, up and back? Move your arms out to your side, up to the ceiling, do bicep curls as you step. the intensity doesn't matter, its the moving for 10 mins. Cut yourself some slack. Deal with today YOU are doing great!!!

Hi, I have been doing this challenge for almost a week now and I LOVE it! I find it so motivating to make myself do just 10 min of exercise....and I usually end up doing more. However, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in all my joints, usually it is very well controlled with my medication but I live in an isolated community in Northern Canada and I am waiting for my meds to come in on the plane. I have gone two weeks without my needle now and I have been forcing myself through the workouts through the pain, believing the end result is worth it. However, I woke up this morning and can barely move :( I don't want to give up on this challenge and the one day I didn't work out I felt like crap! I am looking for suggestions for extremely low impact activity that will still count towards this challenge...hoping my meds will be in this week and I'll be back to normal. Before I would have gone swimming but there is no indoor pool here :( Please let me know if you have any suggestions! Thanks :)
