Thank you all for the great advice. Today I parked farther away from the door of my school and walked and parked my car farther at my job for the ten minute walk. Stairs will be more of a challenge since I have really bad knees. I will continue to find ways to walk off the pounds!

Can't agree more. Due to your busy schedule, the easiest way to accomplish your goals would probably be to park further away and take the stairs/walk to your classes (depending on your safety level).

Also, see if you can wake up in time to take a quick stroll around the block. That should get your 10 minutes in for the day and you can see if you can build on that!

Good luck.

Small things like
take the stairs (steps do add up)
Park further away so you get double benefit (fresh air and exercise walking)
Put or reach for things higher up or lower shelf than "normal" so that you have to stretch and move differently in order to get them
Drink water
Set the alarm to give yourself a few extra minutes -- even 5-10 minutes of tone&strengthening exercises will make a difference
Adequate sleep is important too
So is your food intake... but that is a given here of what you take in and how much
Start small and build on that success

I am a busy mom, working full-time and going to school full time and doing alot of sitting. In my spare time I'm catching up on sleep. I truly could use suggestions in how to implement exercise in my days. Thanks in advance!
