Thank you for this thread. I just got a cold too, and I'm pretty miserable but I don't want to break my streak. I think instead of the yoga I had planned for today, I'll just go for a walk, well bundled up. Fresh air and light exercise will probably help me feel better.

I just went to the walkin clinic last night and found out the cold/cough I've had for over a week is a sinus infection :/ But it doesn't have to stop me completely ... I took a slow easy walk for 10 minutes and am happy with that ... some is better than none and I'm doing what I can ... which is all we can ask of ourselves.

Hope you get to feeling better soon ... and just do what you can :)

Thanks for all of the encouragement. I'm trying to take it really easy for at least the next couple days. It's moved into my chest making it harder to breathe, and I'm working 2 jobs right now, so that doesn't help. Hoping to be back on track soon!

Thanx for the advice. I always thought that you shouldn't exercise when your'e sick, but doing something light is better than nothing at all and I won't feel so guilty!

My trainer advised me to still workout, just at a slower pace when I had a cold. I skipped one day altogether because I was just too wiped out but I went every other day. Don't get discouraged, you'll pick it back up!

Well we all have been sick and all. Don't think about it. Soon you will be back working out and all. !
