Hi all. I have only completed one callenge since joining Spark. I decided it was time to try another. The majority of my exercise is walking my dog. However, most evenings I have two other ladies that come over and we work out in my living room. It gives us a chance to have fun while we work out. We laugh, joke, gossip, and trash our husbands. lol

This is my first week of the 10-min challenge. I didn't think I could get in my 10 today because of a back-ache this monring, but by evening I found i was dancing while watching Dancing With the Stars. 15 min. Sometimes it takes planning, other times I say "I didn't do it yet, but i still can". And SO CAN YOU!

You didn't put the weight on overnight; you're not going to take it off overnight. One step at a time will get you closer toward your goal.

Ok Take 3. third time is the charm right??? LOL I've made it through week 1 twice now only to blow it in week 2 so here goes again, week 1 for the third time.. I don't make it this time I don't know what I am gonna do.

I hope this gets me back on the exercise track . . . or streak!

Maybe I'm just lazy. I want to get up and get moving. My job is sedentary. I'm at a computer most of the day. But there aren't any desk police here that tie me down and don't allow me to get up, stretch, move around. No, I've done that to myself. So I decided to go with the streak. Start one and keep it going and going and going.

I didn't have nearly as much trouble exercising during the summer. We had a small above ground pool in the backyard. I even went out there early AM, 5 or so, and did water exercises. Felt wonderful to do it and I loved it. Made me smile all day. Well, now it's down for the fall/winter/spring and I'm 'down' in the exercise dept. BUT that won't stay that way. I am determined and I am focused.

emoticon Congratulations on taking the first step!

To share my experience of the past few weeks: Its all about momentum. Once you start just keep on going. Remember its just 10 minutes a day and if you get in the habit each day will become easier. Especially on those days you REALLY dont want to just tell yourself its only 10 minutes. When you get through that day you will feel the success of overcoming your hesitation and be so proud of yourself. We are all here for you.

I just joined this challenge as well. Still trying to learn what its about. I use the elliptical daily when I can. And I too think 10 minutes is doable. That and drinking 3 bottles of water daily. That equals 8-8oz glasses.

I guess since my son is being good I should try to squeeze in my 10 min.

Good luck hun!! I have a sister that is 528lbs. I just hope that she does the same and figures out how to do something! Just know that there are people who struggle just like you. All it takes is baby steps! Start with one thing! Don't try to do too many things at once! Set one goal at a time. If you try to do too many things at once it will get frustrating and you will stop and want to give up on all of it! Just keep pushing!! You can do it!! Good luck!!

This is also my first day of this challenge. I just started using SparkPeople again last week, been on it off and on. I am at 340 need to loose at least 100lbs preferably 130. I don't want to be thin just healthy. I am excited about this challenge because i think 10 minutes a day is doable and a coworker is supporting me on this. Her and I went for a 10 minute walk on our break this morning so i finished my goal for the day.
