I have a tendency to try to hard and then get overtired
I thank Creator for the ways of creation.
For eyes to see the beauty of creation.
For ears to hear the sounds of creation.
For the heart to understand the ways of Creator
For hands to touch
For words to teach little ones the ways of Creator
I pray for love for all our relations.
There's chair exercises, but ONLY if you have the energy to do so. If your body says rest, then rest. Don't want to get overly sick.
Depression is anger without the motivation.
I think depression runs rampant in society today because we are all so obsessed with making a living instead of living our lives.
Live your dreams, it's not as hard as it may seem...On your hopes you must lean...From your fears you have to wean yourself.
Your body's immune system is 100% dedicated to fighting off this infection. Drink a lot of water, and fruit juices. Eat some cool, smooth and soft foods....like Greek yogurt, and get a lot of rest. If you are up to it take a short walk.

People will forget what you say
People will forget what you do
But people will never forget how you made them feel
Articles I have read have said that we should not exercise when we are this sick. The heart and lungs can be affected by these infections and we should not stress them any more by exercising. If the sickness is something like a head cold, and the chest is not involved, you can walk, but leave the other exercises until you feel better.
As a P.S. If your throat hurts so much that you can hardly swallow, you might have a strep infection. If you have strep throat, or feel so bad that you can hardly swallow for what ever reason, just rest. You don't want to stress your body anymore if you are that sick.
Missing a few days of exercise is not going to "mess up" your weight loss program. ; )

Sit and Be Fit is a program that is on PBS television. Why don't you google it in on your computer and ask about that and other low impact exercises. I'm sure that should help you some. You tube might have something too. Whatever you do, DON'T GIVE UP!
P.S. If you are feeling quite sick, I'm in agreement you should not be exercising. You will only compound your sickness and you definitely want to get well soon. Once you're feeling better that do all you can to be healthy!

Spark People Team Leader, GLITTERGIRL, from Team, "I Can't Do This On My Own", helped me reach my goal in 2012. I was able to maintain my weight for several months, but now I have to get serious again as much of my hard work I let go of, putting my focus on another issue. I will keep on, until I get back to my goal.
I believe Coach Nicole has chair exercise videos that you could look for. Also, easy walking or stretching might feel okay. Don't do more than you feel that you can. It is great that you want to keep up with the challenge, but be sure to listen to your body and take care of yourself.
I hope you and your husband are feeling better soon!
My husband has been sick with the flu for 3 says now. Last night I came down with a sore throat....can't hardly swallow. That is good for keeping me on track with eating....but now I am achy and lack motivation.
Does anyone know of some low impact exercises that I can do while sick so I stay on track?
