I deserve a treat because I have made good, healthy, mindful choices of food this week and have "banked" a treat of a pizza (no cheese) and a salad. i cannot believe it but i am sooo excited to have this treat. Best of all excited to have a no cheese option. Never thought I would look forward to a pizza without cheese. Here I come.....

I deserve a treat only had 3 binges in 2 1/2 month. lost seventeen pound. record my food almost every day.. walk 5 or 6 days a week. At least 1 mile a day and 4 to 6 miles on sat.

HAPPY ANNIVERSERY TO ME!
Two years ago this very moment I was being wheeled out of surgery following my open heart - bypass surgery.
Mel Stewart, my Thoracic cut man, guaranteed 30 more years were added to my life.
So, if I die within the next 28 years….I get my money back.
My Cardio guy, Scotty Morris, just gave me the green light to workout 6 days a week, 90 -120 minutes a day. I failed to admit to Scotty, for the last six months I’ve been doing a 4/3 (2-3 hour) bi-weekly workout schedule. I also repressed the fact I restarted my (now tri-) monthly nine hour workout day(s).
Wonder if that would invalidate my 30 yr. guarantee.???

My little Callie was at the Vet and she is not in good shape and then I have conference calls that just about did me in. I deserve a treat because I just graduated at the top of my nursing class-summa cum laude, AND managed to lose 17 of the 20 lbs I put on during school. I feel better, more energized and ready to begin my new career at my age. I've rewarded myself with a few new clothes but continue on the wt loss plan!!! Way to go team for all your accomplishments!!!

I am so glad that I can do the exercises again. This is the start of week 3. I am also starting to add more time on the bicycle and the eliptical. It seemed like it would never happen again. I envy those of you that run. I am glad I am walking with out pain.

I am back at the fitness center. My knee is still not as flexible as I'd like. It feels good to be back in a regular exercise program. Therapy was okay but didn't help the rest of my needs.

Energy to work...... I painted the living room and the hall so far. Keeping busy has helped me stay out of the kitchen and eating right has givien me more energy.

I didn't oveer eat Sunday and I didn't eat a lot of candy. My daughter knows I have been trying to stay away from sugar and gave me a violet for Easter. This was a great Easter.

I deserve a treat because of how hard I've worked to get where I am today. I've dealt with eating disorders, depression, bullying, and even rape. Every day is a struggle, but I've put on my boots and waded through the muck of life, busting my little bum to be healthy in body, mind, and spirit. I've even already earned my AA degree (earned at 16), and there is no stopping me now! Freshly 18, and I'm not letting any hard times set me back. I fit into a pair of jeans that I could not squeeze into a couple of months ago! I know you are not supposed to hang on to old clothes, but I have several nice pairs of jeans and pants that I am hanging on to because I know I can wear them soon. It was like the Progresso soup commercial, "It fits!" and that was a treat in itself!

I have been getting up at 5 am to workout for over 2 months, have lost 10 lbs and am loving my body more than ever right now. Plus, I will be undergoing a mandated shift change soon and will be required to work until midnight, yet I know I'll still find a way to fit exercise in. I've found my style inspiration and am scheduling a hair appointment with a master stylist. I also bought myself a new pair of boots and will be going away for a ladies' weekend with the women in my family! I deserve a treat!!

...because I joined the Winter 5% Challenge. I love Chi Walking--learned about it from the Chi Running and Walking SparkTeam--so I do that during this Challenge. I also love doing a yoga pose or two most days of the week, so I am including that in my Chi Walking. And one day a week, I'll allow myself to eat some of what is not part of my blood type diet--this seems to calm my whole soul, since I grew up on those foods.
