I know, we can only do what we can do and take things one step at a time. I weigh in tonight so will see what this first week has done as far as weight loss. I already know that I feel much better mentally, just because I have made the irrevocable decision to live with these changes for the rest of the time I have left. Hope you are feeling better!emoticon

Me too Deb! I woke up this morning feeling 110 years old and it hurt to even get out of bed. My calves feel bruised and all locked up. I'm very grateful for this team because we can pull each other along, even if it's a slow road to SUCCESS! I've lost my 1st 4 lbs already - in 4 days! I haven't exercised since Tuesday, but I will do at least 10 minutes before I turn in tonight. Then, probably soak in a hot bath to relax my aching bod.

There's many ways to track progress here at SP! I focus on the ONE that is working for me ONE DAY AT A TIME.

Thanks, today is still rough but I am doing what I need to do anyway. You get to the point where being in pain is so much a part of life that you wonder what is wrong if there is no pain!
Tomorrow I weigh in and I have a good feeling about it.

emoticon Every day is different. Some times it is hard to figure out what was done the day before to be in so much pain the next day. I like to think that what little exercise I do is better then none. Hope you have some better days. emoticon

DEBHUT3, I know EXACTLY how that feels!

Today has been one of those for me as well... and yes, I did exercise--but C.A.R.E.F.U.L.L.Y...... LOL because I think the main reason I'm hurting is that I did too much yesterday. I'm getting over a mild case of heat exhaustion, and it's taking longer than expected to get back up to speed. You'd think after all this time, I'd have figured it out... LOL

We'll get through this and on to the next step...

Good for you!!! Just do it gradually and if you exercise and hurt a lot the next day sometimes you may need to kick back a notch for that day. Doesn't it feel good?

I woke up really hurting today. I think some of it was muscle soreness from the increased activity, but did do my exercise anyway. I feel pretty good about that, but am still really hurting.emoticon
