Let me know how you do with the increase in the dose. I was like you... lots of side effects and made me really sick with the Cymbalta. It took me a couple of months to not be nauseous 24/7 and then it only halfway worked with the pain for about 3 months before it stopped working at all. Anything that could make the pain level go back down and decrease the fibro fog would be wonderful. Lately the fog has been really thick..... :)
I just started on Savella a few weeks ago. I am still on the lowest dose, my dr is going slow getting me on it because I've had such bad side effects whenever I would have to go off and then back on again with Cymbalta. Savella isn't supposed to have as many side effects, but she wanted to go slow just to make sure.
So far it actually seems to be helping. Haven't noticed any change in pain level, but the fibro fog seems to be lifting a bit (and its been pretty foggy in here lately
I can report back as I go up higher (tomorrow I start on the next highest dose before the final level I will be on. I would also like to hear from others on how they've done on it. I know that with fibro each person is different with how they react to the different meds though. (what works for 1 won't work for someone else etc.)
