I do believe, m'dear. I believe that it works for some people, and that others will have to keep hunting... and I'm glad it helped your Mom, and I'm totally okay with your wanting to "spread the word" as it were-- I just care about all my team members, including you, and I want my team members to exercise caution so they don't have the bad experiences I have had with drug interactions, allergic reactions etc.

It's only common sense to make sure your doctor knows what you're doing, just in case something goes wrong...

My mom was a nurse, and she always stressed using common sense. Just passing that along...

I'm sorry if you don't believe but I'm just saying because I have seen it with my own eyes. I didn't exactly say that Guaifenesin is the cure or that it is only thing that comes in the medicine I'm saying that Dr. St amand is the what helped my mom. Check him out but if not that's fine I just wanted to help spread the relief (notice how I didn't say cure because there is No cure for fibro) that my mother got from seeing him.

Kathy, thanks for the disclaimer. Even though we'd love to believe there's a cure out there for this awful illness, there isn't - so far. All we can do is treat the symptoms. And keep on keepin' on.

Excellent information Kathy. Definitely use under a Dr. supervision and a Pharmacist input as the the medication mix you are on. As always, safety first!! Check it out!!

It's guafenisin, folks--one of the medications used in cough syrups, and the protocol is actually nothing new, it's been around for a long time. It involves avoiding all salicylates (ie aspirin and certain types of sodium products--not to mention certain approved arthritis medications) and taking the "cough syrup" every day, and can take several months to start working--AND, in common with all the treatments available so far, it seems to work for some and not for others.

If you decide to try it, I would highly recommend that you do so under a doctor's supervision, since just like any medication, some people can experience some rather nasty side effects. I couldn't handle the stuff for more than a week-- MORE pain, not less.

WE're all unique, and I guess it's like everything else. The only way to know if it's for you is to give it a try. LOL

Its a treatment that doesn't involve any Vicodin or any pain killers and the main ingredient is Guaifenesin. Which is also contained in Mucinex. Within two weeks of taking Dr. St Amand's medicine she started feeling better. My mom was in so much pain she couldn't even walk and laying down caused her a lot of pain as well. She is now back at work working as a mail carrier! For more information you can contact Dr St. Amand's at 310-577-7510! Honestly this would be the best decision of your life! Give him a call!

Hello my name is Brianna SOria and I do not have Fibromyalgia but my mom does. She was diagnosed with it last year and it was probably the worst thing I had seen in my life because she was in so much pain. I was there with her through every step of the way! We were trying to find a cure that would actually stop her pain instead of just giving her pain medicine that knocked her out for a couple of hours just to wake up from the pain. Finally my aunt found out about this doctor who claimed he treated fibromyalgia and we decided to give him a shot. We had nothing to lose and we decided to go to Los Angeles, Ca to see him Sure enough he's been the best thing that has ever happened to us. My mom doesn't hurt anymore. He gave her some medicine that she has to take everyday but my mom has never felt better! Honestly if you are in pain you HAVE to go see this doctor! His name is Dr. St Amand! Here's a link to his website : http://fibromyalgiatreatment.com/
