I am just back to work and trying to get in 10 mins of exercise daily. I am on my feet all day. So when I come home I am playing with my little one or getting supper ready. It is really cold here now. Sitting at 2 tonight.
I am working out in the morning still as the temps have not dropped below 100 yet. I did however have someone stop and ask if i needed a ride anywhere yesterday because they thought I was a teenager. This is flattering as I am pushing mid 40's now. The diet and exercise is really working well for me

The first 5k is always exciting!! I ran a few in 2010, but none since then. I'll be doing my first in almost 2 years later this month, but I will be being chased!! It's a zombies vs humans trail run and it seems like a lot of fun!
I love this time of the year! The weather gets cooler so there is more time to spend outside. My daughter just started soccer and we get to huddle outside with hot cocoa and watch her games. I also start my baking, this year I am going to make a effort to control my eating of baked goods! I also will be walking/running my 1st 5k on Saturday. I have been training for 8 weeks and I never thought I would run unless being chased I am very excited to make it over the finish line, even if I am last! I hope everyone has a great month of October!
