I've been walking every night - one hour (5 KM) in the neighbourhood. The house isn't as tidy as it would be without the walk... but I've decided that it's a trade-off I'm willing to make. I do it right when the kids go to bed and my husband is home. So far, it's working out really well!
I haven't been able to do anything lately - unfortunately. My nanny quit to go back to school, and I have hired 4 nannies/sitters in the last 3 months. None of them have worked out. This has made it very difficult for my husband and I to tag team kids, still work full time, have family that came from Texas for the summer, maintain the house, etc. I temporarily reduced my work hours (just for the last month), but return to work full time this week. Hopefully, getting back to a normal schedule with a new nanny/housekeeper (she will only be part time) will help.
