Because of the Revolution, that my 7 year old just loves, we read labels. My 7 year old shops with me and before it goes in the cart she demands that we read the label. She says "No funny" Names. If it sounds like a sicence project we do not buy it. She has also become very good at comparing the prices as well. Both she and I have learned that eating the Jamie Oliver inspired foods has helped my weight loss, and it has helped us both learn to to save $ at the store. Fresh and Healthly can be cheaper and much better for you

Watching the Food Revolution has made me more conscience of the food that I eat. I also inform my students just how much sugar and such is in the flavored milks. Some have actually started drinking them because of that!! Small success but it is a step in the right direction!
He has reinvigorated me to get creative in my meals. And to stay on track preparing lunches! If he can get kids to do it, I should be able to do it too!!!! Jamie Oliver motivates me and I'd like to see this team continue to be active.

I have been watching Jamie Oliver on the Cooking channel, Food Network, etc., for years and own some of his cookbooks. I also love the Food Revolution and he has inspired me and my whole family to eat healthier and organic as well!

I normally watched the Food Revolution with my 6 year old son (who wants to be a chef, among other things, when he grows up). He was BIG on the strawberry and chocolate milk. Once he saw how much sugar was in it he thought it was disgusting. He only got about 1 glass a week , but now he tells other people how unhealhty it is! Love that kiddo.
The only way to be successful is to be truthful with yourself.
