I love getting suprise spark goodies... thank you so much, it makes the working out even more of a joy.
I Love Dr. Oz and but I never can get enough time in the day to watch a whole recorded show. I hate what I am missing, so I go to his page and look over it and see what he is talking about and what I can start applying in my life.
I have changed a lot of my eating and nutrient supplements on his advice- and my life is all the better for it.
I have been changing over to primarily best organic food I can get, local grown, even my dairy, including eggs, butter, and meats. I live on a very fixed income and there is not extra... but I have noticed that the more really good food, that really isn't that much more expensive than the food in Walmart has completely cut my cravings for junk food. And when I eat what I plan and prepare, that I am rarely hungry, when I am I am realizing that hunger is more thirst than hunger (especially if is off a scheduled time to eat)... so water my body gets.
I rarely have dips in my energy level, other than the natural rhythm of the body cycle.
When I do eat something I don't keep at home, I will pay the price for it... whether it is feeling tired the next day, or a bad nights sleep.
Believe me, I am far from where I want to be, I still am slowly finding substitutions where I can and what I can afford. But I don't spend much in a traditional grocery store anymore- maybe 20 bucks a month. There is so much available in local farmers markets, including baked goods, that it is just not that necessary to go to a supermarket.
Thank you for the spark goodies, and I will be post more frequently on my transition.
I am working out harder, not loosing weight but am dropping inches like crazy.. so the pounds have to start going soon, but I am also just really starting on this part of my journey.
:)
