Thanks so veru much for helping me to get my Tracker working!!!! This is going to be a very good year for me, to really get started with my weight loss.
Those are some great goals, and I am actually going to start going to a Zumba class two nights a week with my Mom. My first class is tomorrow night, and I just hope that I can keep up with everyone.
I sent you a private message with the instructions to add a ticker to your profile, but I am also going to post it here just in case someone else needs them:
Some members like to share their progress with the SparkPeople Community. One way to do this is to add a ticker to your Message Board posts.
To add a ticker to your Message Board post:
1.Roll your mouse over “My Trackers” in the top left corner of the screen.
2.Click on “Start,” which is the first link down.
3.You’ll now see your Start page.
4.Click on the “Account/E-Mail Preferences” link in the upper left corner of the page.
5.You’ll now see three tabs (Account, Email and Community).
6.Click on the "Community" tab, which is the third tab to the right.
7.Click on “Signature & Ticker,” which is the sixth button down.
8.You’ll now see “My Ticker” page.
9.Check the box that says “Yes! Show my ticker on the Message Boards and my SparkPage.”
10.Select the ticker option you would like.
11.Once you select your ticker, a new section may open up below your ticker option. If a new section opens up, you will need to enter more information, such as a date, start weight & goal weight, type of event, what you gave up, etc. (Dates should be entered as m/d/yyyy. Ex: 1/1/2011)
12.Click on “Chose a ticker icon.”
13.Click on the icon you would like to show on your ticker.
14.Click on “Choose a ticker background.”
15.Click on the background you would like to show on your ticker.
16.Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.
My new year's resolutions:
1. Continue going to the gym
2. Join a Zumba class (heard this was fun fun fun)
3. Help my friends at work with their weight loss
How do you get the weight tool bar at the bottom of your page???
My new year's resolutions:
1. To exercise at least 30 minutes a day...going to need help with this one.
2. To start going to church every Sunday - I always feel better after I have been.
3. To remind myself every day that I am a beautiful person.
4. To put game night back in our family routine.
Each day as it gets closer to the new year I think of others, so I may be back to add some!
Stop by and share what you are hoping to accomplish in 2012.
Maybe you want to cut something out of your diet, or maybe you want to add more exercise.
Maybe it has nothing to do with diet or exercise.
We can get to know our team members a little more and what is important to them. Our lives are not all wrapped up with watching what we eat or how much exercise we are getting, that is just a part of our life.
And remember when setting your resolutions, make them attainable so you don't get frustrated and give up!
