Lots today! Homemade pumpkin bread with a banana this morning, a plum, grapefruit, and corn salsa (corn, red and green peppers and a jalapeno) for lunch, a tangerine and grapes for snack, and broccoli with dinner :)

3 dried apricots, 1C chopped carrots, applesauce, 3/4C green beans, 1C cucumber and about a cup of lettuce.
I need to buy more apples on the weekend. If I take an apple to work I usually end up eating it.

3 dried apricots, a small tomato, 1C of raw carrots and 1C of cooked brocolli. If I'm bein honest I also had a little bit of date in an oatmeal date cookie. I was a fairly good girl though and only ate half the monster cookie and brought the other half home for hubby.

Yesterday was 2 dried apricots, green beans, cucumber, potatoes, brocolli and carrots. It worked out to 6.5 servings without counting the apricots.

peppers and tomatoes for one serving, an apple and 2.5 servings of cauliflower. Close, but not quite enough, I have quite a few calories left, maybe I'll have an unsweetened applesauce as a snack.

About two cups of lettuce and some tomato at lunch, applesauce for a snack and dinner was pasta with fresh tomatoes and peppers. I didn't measure the tomatoes and peppers, but I estimated there wasn't enough to truly call it 5 servings for the day. I figure if I add in the 20 grams of raisins at breakfast I was fairly close though.

yesterday was carrot sticks and cucumber slices with lunch. An apple for a snack. I was the last person to eat dinner so I took all the brocolli and it measured out to 1 1/2 cups!

I keep sliced cucumbers (with peel) and carrot "chips" around... they help when I want something crunchy AND up the veggies quick. Plain yogurt with fresh fruit (less cal/fat - more YUM). Grilled vegetable packets - whatever I have around with spices....again - quick and lots of veggie punch.

I didn't start off well at all today. By 3pm when I went to track my food I realized I had eaten about a half cup of raw brocolli and peppers in a pasta salad. That was it. Instead of throwing in the towel, I just added a cup of tomatoes and a cup of cucumber to my dinner that aleady had a 1/2 cup of green beans. That was a lot of chewing, but I feel better now about the day as a whole.

Well, welcome aboard! You are going to find a great deal of support here!

I struggle with fruits/veggies. One way I have found to get fruit in is by blending Fiber One cereal with Skim milk and strawberrys. I know this might sound gross, but it is working for me:)

I have just started on my diet/fitness plan 3 days ago so I have not yet been really watching my fruits and veggies but I'm planning on eating a salad later.

I do eat yogurt with pieces of fruit in it though.I ate a cherry yogurt today for breakfast.
