Today I made my Protein Smoothie, put in a small orange, frozen banana, and added a handful of baby spinach just for good measure! It's delicious and a good way to get a bit of folate. Apparently I seldom eat greens, cause my folate always shows up very low when I run my daily tracker on nutrition.

Ahh, Rosa, I'm back to the protein smoothies again. Calorie and nutrition wise they are very good for me, so I'm probably drink them until someday in the far future I finally am sick of them.

Surgery may be postponed. Life certainly does have it's ups and downs. And if I have to wait it could mean that I'll have to re-do some of the tests I already did, especially the blood work, but maybe the echocardiogram too! Maybe I'll find out for sure tomorrow -- as it is I got up way early and drove to Laughlin today, so I'm here!

I've been cutting back on my food lately because when I have my surgery which will probably be on Monday, June 24th the doctor doesn't want me to eat anything but clear liquids on Sat. and Sunday. I already know chicken and beef broth is not very filling.

Today I still had my protein smoothie.

I'm in a rut, always the same breakfast, although this morning mulberries were included, and I picked them fresh off a mulberry tree we found in Yarnell. They are messy to pick though, you really stain your hands purple and it's hard to get off.

Where is it you are flying to? not familiar with it.

Same old thing for me, my choc/pb protein drink smoothie. Depending on what I add to embellish it, it runs from 275 calories to just a bit over 300. That's a good breakfast for me, and it gives me 30 mg of protein, half my daily requirement.
