I managed to meet my goal for Thanksgiving: to eat only one small plate of Thanksgiving favorites & one sliver of pumpkin pie & one sliver of apple pie. I got my favs without over doing ti :) (which is huge since I'm on Predinisone & I get the munchies when I'm on that *eye roll* stupid med side-effects)

Last year I went bananas with the stress eating and gained 8 pounds over the holidays. This year, I am determined not to do the same thing! I started the 28 day bootcamp challenge and am starting week 2 today, so even if I can't get my normal workout in (I work in retail, this is a crazy time of year for me) I know I can at least work in the 10 minute video. So far so good and I'm feeling great! Woohoo! Love this challenge!

This will be my 4th holiday maintaining my goal weight. I'll be starting out at 141 and hopefully staying there. Good luck to everyone and enjoy your holidays with friends and family instead of with food!

It's hard to be happy with others if we are not happy with ourselves.
Just keep on moving and you'll get there.

Ho-ho-ho! It's the holidays and you know what that comes with a side off -- temptation! That's why this month's challenge isn't to really do this or do that, it's just about keeping the status quo. It's all about maintenance!
This month we challenge you all to maintain your weight. So get out there, eat your favorite treats (savoring every delicious holiday bite), move as much as your schedule allows (shopping does count as cardio if you walk fast enough!), take time for you and enjoy the season -- no matter what holiday you're celebrating!
