I thought this was an interesting thread, so I thought I would bring it to the top to encourage some activity from our team. Also, it never hurts to have new ideas!
To fit in exercise, especially with two young kids, I try to sneak in exercise. For example, when the kids are swinging, I will give them a push, then race around the house to see if I can get back before they complain about going slow. Or while doing dishes I will march in place to the beat of music. Fast songs obviously get your heart beating faster. :) Lastly, when doing little things from changing diapers to preparing meals to cleaning, I also try to walk in place.

Sometimes while I am doing dishes I will do squats. Also when I run the vacuum or when I am doing things around the house I will walk in lunges. Hope this helps.
OK I was wondering what are some creative ways to sneak in exercise in a short amount of time? Especially for us stay at home moms. I get extra work out time in by lifting my 25 lb son up and down like I am curling weights. He laughs and thinks it is a game and I work my muscles.
