I can'r wait for the weekend when I'll have stabilized my blood sugar, AND have the time, and can feel free to have something more enticing. I'm already fantasizing about low-carb waffles, sliced strawberries, and a TON of whipped cream!

laughing...
it was a weak moment for me when I ate it -- I haven't eaten cold cereal in.... well, I can't remember the last time--years and years! Not that I don't like it (I do!), it is just that I eat low-carb and I TRY to not mess up... and when I do, it typically is by eating birthday cake or a special holiday dessert.....
But this cereal was Kellog's... from Mexico, a variety that isn't here in the U.S. and it had raisins and coconut -- and even smelled good! I am a SUCKER for something good-smelling!

Anyway, I've been "paying" for it the last couple days -- by just drinking my usual tea and maybe a hard-boiled egg.... (no nuts or fruit...)

Whilst gone on vacation, for breakfast I mostly ate my high fiber, low-fat, hi-protein microwave blueberry muffin slathered with sour cream. And bacon. And tea. A substantial breakfast generally got me through the whole day without even thinking about lunch or interrupting the fun I was having. I was very satisfied with that!

never been a coffee drinker - I don't like the smell. But I've also reached that age where a jump start to my day is a welcome thing! Hence all the tea!

I planned ahead last night... and prepared myself some Tuna Louis -- except instead of stuffing an avocado half, I cubed the avocado and smeared the Tuna mixture onto some romaine leaves.

I see you LIKE a strong start!

I tried something new and added some egg white protein powder to my hot chai with cream and blended it in with a stick blender. I feared it might cook, or congeal, or thicken.... but no.... it gave my chai a pleasant head of foam and smoothed out the taste of the chai and that was it. I like it!
