I use to be a "salt junkie" I put salt on everything, even before I tasted my food I would grab the salt shaker and just "pour". Since giving up sodium I've noticed that I'm not bloated and my face & stomach isn't puffy. Good Luck!
My feeling is that unless hypertension is an issue for you, don't worry about salt. The body will closely regulate it's sodium levels and we are worrying about enough points to keep track of without having to count sodium content, as well.
Maybe someone else will disagree with me, though.
