Quinoa is great in a tabbouleh recipe in place of Bulgar wheat. I personally love to mix a little mint with my parsley, it provides a nice freshness to it. I also go heavier on the tomatoes as well. Fresh lemon juice is key as well.
Hello to all old and new members sorry its been so long but my company has me slammed. So here I am for some tasting info. Mushrooms are a favorite to most chefs as they are too me as well so I wanted to share some great properties about mushrooms. First off they are extremely low in calories and 2nd they are powerful ammunition for fighting off infections. They increase the production and activity of white blood cells. Eat 1/2 oz of raw or cooked mushrooms at the 1st sign of a cold everyday until you feel better and your recovery time will be cut in half. That sounds better than Nyquil to me.

LEAG - what types of recipes are you looking for with the quinoa? I've been finding there are lots of things you can do with it. I baked some in the over with some flaxseed, etc and made crunch I add to my greek yogurt sometimes.
RUNNER1974 I just posted a great Chicken Stew recipe in the SparkRecipes section. Just do a search by my username. It's not 100% clean as it has mushroom soup in it, but all other ingredients are fresh.
Anyone got any recipes for quinoa? I've wanted to try it, but am not too sure what to do with it.
Oh pineapple, I love it with Salmon. I make foil packets with salmon, onions, whatever veggies I have, fresh pineapple, and seafood seasonings. Wrap it all up in the foil and grill for about 15 minutes or until done.

This is one of my favorite "chicken salad" recipes. It is almost all clean--sans the small serving of m whip lite.
Sweet and Sour Chicken salad 4 oz chix breast-cooked 1/2 tbsp Miracle whip lite 1 1/2 Tbsp greek yogurt 1/2 tsp agave syrup (or sweetner of your choice) 1 tsp red wine vinegar 1/8 tsp garlic salt 1/8 tsp black pepper 1/3 C chopped pineapple Mix and serve over cabbage or lettuce, with cauliflower and broccoli or in red pepper cup.
2 Cups kamut pasta cook first 1 container egg whites 60 grams cheese 2 T parmesan cheese spices: paprika, hot chilli powder, turmeric, parsly, oregano, ginger and or what ever you choose about 1/2 tsp of each spice + sea salt.
mix egg with spices spray casarole dish with oil put cooked pasta in dish pour egg mix over past bake at 350 for 45 min
